This time in 4 weeks time, I shall be laughing with my friends - full of happiness, tired with sore feet as I would have completed my race! Having achieved something which when I signed up in May (6 weeks ago) I'd never have thought I would get this far! My pre-race miles have steadily been increasing, as has the fundraising. I have become fitter and healthier and look forward to just putting on my Nikes, grabbing my iPod and just simply walking...
As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said:
"That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do; not that the nature of the thing itself is changed, but that our power to do it is increased."I know exactly what Mr. Emerson is talking about!
Its a beautiful sunny Sunday! I am going to embrace the sunshine...
